Visiting the Border

I plan to travel from Wisconsin to El Paso Texas to bring donations of clothes and toys  from the Lac du Flambeau Ojibwe Nation to immigrants at the border.  I also plan to travel  west along the border  to see how the wall  is impacting Indian Country.

I plan to volunteer with immigrant organizations  and to interview as many people as I can. I plan to blog about what I learn and experience and to write articles, do a podcast,  and  write and publish a book as well.

i have had several books and hundreds of articles published including pieces in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the San  Francisco Chronicle,  and the Christian Science Monitor so have a lot of experience creating and completing writing projects.

I hope to travel to the border once each season beginning December 2019.  Funds will be used for travel, with anything left over being contributed to immigrant relief..
