Vision trip to Uganda

From the 6th-17th of February Michael and I , along with 8 others, will be taking a trip of a life time to Uganda. We have teamed up with Elevation Church, Sports Outreach, and Jacob's Ladder to do some pretty awesome things through Christ for others. And we need your help!
A little back story:
Michael and I have always wanted to go on a missions trip for some time now, but never had the opportunity to do so. That is, until we met Tommy Reiman.Michael and I met Tommy Reiman a few years ago. Staff Sergeant (SSG) Tommy Rieman is a Silver Star and Purple Heart recipient with 15 years of service in the United States Army. He is the founder and director of Jacob's Ladder. Jacob's Ladder was created after all of his experiences with trauma and transitioning, he realized something was missing in the Veteran Community. Many organizations exist to support Veterans and military families, and they are doing great work, but he found himself wondering, "Where is God in all of this?”
Jacob's Ladder is a non-profit organization doing great work for our verterens through Christ.
So you're probably wondering "what does this all matter?" Well, it matters because Michael and I sit on the board of Jacob's Ladder, and we are representing the organization while over in Uganda.
So...
While over in Uganda we have a pretty full schedule. Here are just a few things we will be doing while in Uganda.
-We will be traveling to Kampala, Gulu, Koro, and Paraa spreading the amazing word of God.
-We will have afternoons making home visits, sports programs, feeding, and decipleship.
-Construction/farm projects.
-Spending time at schools to spread the gospel.
-Community clean up.
-Visiting a home for women.
As I said earlier, we need your help. Michael and I are asking for donations to help off set the amount of this trip. This "asking for donations" is hard for us, we dont like doing it. But we know we must, as one ticket to attend this amazing experience is upwards of $3,000. No donation is too small and every donation is appreciated. Please consider helping us so we can give back and help others. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindess and generosity. We are excited to see where God is taking us.
On a side note, I am bringing my trusty camera to capture our experience!! I can't wait to come back and share it all with you!
