VISIBLE - A VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER
Did you know that same sex acts are illegal in over 70 countries? Rainbow Refugees helps persecuted queer people fleeing there countries, immigrate to a new and safe life in Canada. This year we are raising money for one specific lesbian couple and their daughter , who have been hiding and living from city to city after being forced out of their homes. The holidays are weird enough this year, but could you imagine the fear or death, jail or having your family ripped away from you? The holidays are such a point of stress for so many reasons, but although a lot of us are celebrating differently this year, we are still so fortunate to have safety over everything.
Featuring an entirely POC cast, we as entertainers, are banding together to do something monumental, and we are asking for your support.
