Meet Monica and Jessica Ann, super fun, loving community minded identical twins. There is never a dull moment with this duo, who share many adventures filled with service and love towards others, despite their rough start in life. From eating out of trash cans, being separated, placed in foster care, and adopted by a wonderful forever family, together, they never forget their humble beginnings. In lieu of a big birthday bash and presents, they started an annual birthday bash giveback instead to share their special day with others less fortunate. Daily they challenge each other to ‘live on purpose’ by displaying random acts of kindness to encourage others.
Last year they packed up 250 scratch-made lunches along with personal care items including much needed feminine hygiene products, combs, warm socks and other comfort items. The items were hand delivered and gifted to those less fortunate in the Hearthside Community located in Downtown Grand Rapids, where they have the highest homeless population rate.
This year, in honor of and to celebrate their birthday on March 10th, the twins are again making another investment, but would like to do it BIGGER. They are asking for YOU to join them and be a part of helping spread love and care on their birthday virtually. The twins will spend their day, live on Facebook, giving back to different places and spaces including a food truck from Feeding America, children in foster care, seniors, and many other exciting opportunities.
