Virgin Gorda Hurricane Irma Fund

My beautiful island home of Virgin Gorda for the last 2.5 years was devistated by the strongest hurricane ever recorded in Irma.  There is still no word on what has happened to the amazing villa, Baraka Point, I worked at or more importantly many of the amazing people and friends I know that were there.  The few things that have been heard is most everyone has lost their homes and all personal possessions, water and food supplies are going to start running out, and the power may be out for up to a month.  There are no good ways for people to leave the island as many of the ferries were destroyed and the airports are not able to land any planes.  Many of my friends will be out of homes and jobs.  I am honestly not sure what the money will be used for before but 100% of it will be to help my island family try to start over. I can not imagine what they are going through or will be going through for many years to come.  If you have ever been to Virgin Gorda you know there is was a special feeling on the island and because of the people.  It may take a while to fix the physical but the people are still there and need any help that can be given to them.
