Viper Violin for Brigit O'Regan
My Story
Hey! My name is Brigit O'Regan and I am a professional electric violinist, specializing in rock, pop, hip-hop, and more!
I have been playing violin since I was 4 and recently moved to a new city where I quickly worked my way up to being a full time performer/musician. From August 2015 to August 2017, I have performed on stage with Juno award winners, been invited to jam with Motown legends, performed to a stadium of 15K+ on live TV for a WWE wrestling show, and worked my way into many high end entertainment companies in the Toronto area! However, with this amazing new sucess, I have met with a big problem.
Since high school, I have had problems with my neck, back and shoulders and over time this has gotten worse and worse the longer and harder I play, especially now that I am a full time performer.
My pain and stiffness worsened and got to dangerous levels last year when I was in a minor car accident. I sustained whiplash to my neck, increasing my discomfort during performances.
My solution is the Mark Wood signature Viper violin (minimum $3,732 CAN), designed specifically to strap around your shoulders to relieve any strain and pain and completely free the violinist. This will allow me to perform and play without undoing the benefits of massage therapy and physio, and also open up a whole new world for my playing and performing ability.

Here's where I need your help.
As said before, this violin will cost at minimum $3,732 CAN, so $3,800 CAN seems like a good, rounded goal.
I am asking any family, friends, fans and generous internet patrons to help me get not only the instrument of my dreams, but to help heal my jaw/neck/shoulders/back. Any and every little tiny bit helps towards ensuring that I have a long and healthy future career and that I can perform and play to my fullest extent.
And to be 100% honest and clear, ALL funds received will be going towards the purchase of this instrument.

The Trip and my plans moving forward
Next week on August 20th, 2017, I will be flying down to the USA to the Electric Violin Shop in Durham, NC to do my final stage of reseach into the different types of Vipers and to be able to actaully play one of the the first time. This is the nearest place I have been able to find any kind of Viper model and I will be able to try out many kinds to see what works best for me.
I will be able to update everyone once I have arrived at the violin shop and I hope to even do a livestream of me trying out the different kinds. If not, I'll be able to get a video just to show the process.
It takes 16-20 weeks from order to delivery. My goal is to get half the amount needed in the next month, I can order soon and will be able to get it at the end of this year, or the very start of next year.

More about the Instrument
The Viper is fully customizable to your needs and tastes, so I am looking to purchase a red, 5 string violin with a Barbera pickup to get a full, rich tone.
