Violet's Battle

You might not know but our beautiful niece Violet’s world has been turned upside down.  The bright as a button, beautiful, seven year old girl has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).  ALL is the most common type of childhood leukaemia, and the most common childhood cancer.  This type of cancer affects the blood and bone marrow, where there is an overproduction of immature white blood cells, called lymphoblasts or leukaemic blasts. These days with treatment, the majority of children with ALL can be cured of their disease. 

Violet has already commenced Chemotherapy treatment in Brisbane.  This chemotherapy will consist of several cycles of a combination of drugs, including steroids, with a rest period of a few weeks in between.  This will occur several times through the year requiring this beautiful family to be away from their home.   This GoFundMe  page has been set up for anyone who would like to support this beautiful family who are going through so much and aren't able to work due to being so far away from home to be with Violet.
