Vinnie Needs Stomach Surgery

At 3am on 10/28/2020 we noticed Vinnie was taking heavy and abrupt breaths. We didn’t think too much of it, maybe just tired as he has a smoosh face.

Later that night/morning he was  picked up and immediately limped in my arms when I tried to carry him to bed. His tongue was out, eyes glossy, whimpering in pain,  motionless, and had uncontrollable bowel movements on me during his trip to the ER.

Upon arrival, the Animal Hospital was trying to push us to another location 7+ miles away. Luckily with begging and tears they admitted him into their care.

After an hour at the ER, it was determined that he has not been fully digesting his food. The doctor stated his stomach was so full that the kibble was squeezing on his lungs and intestines. To avoid any further issues, he will need emergency surgery ASAP. Our pet insurance is not in effect until next month so we are asking for assistance.  Anything you can give will help!
