Vinalee Follmuth Recovery Fundraiser

Update: coming up on a year soon and Vinalee is doing fantastic, she is back to her normal silly self but still has some PTSD from the accident. But overall doing great. We thank you all for your donations and your help.

Hi, my name is Reanna Schaapveld, and I'm raising money for Vinalee; she just turned 12 years old on 10/26/2022 and was in a horrible freak accident on 10/29/2022. Vinalee is an energetic, fun, loving, kind little girl. She loves life and loves her family. She was on a hay ride. She ended up falling head-first under the trailer and getting run over, pushing her into the ground. She sustained significant injuries and is currently in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator. She is presently in St. Frances children's hospital in Tusla. Her family is traveling back and forth to the hospital from Grove. We are raising the money for gas, medical, lodging, and food expenses. Please, anything helps. UPDATE 10/31/22: Vinalee is awake but still on the ventilator. She goes in for two more surgeries on 11/1/22; she sustained injuries to her head, arm, internal trunk, external trunk and leg. SHE IS GOING TO LIVE!! Just a long road to recovery now.

UPDATE 11/1/22: Vinalee is out of surgery! Doctors are saying that she will not need any more internal surgeries but some cosmetics. Once the sedation wears off, she will FINALLY be off the vent! It will be a long road to recovery, but she is healing faster than the doctors thought. She is doing good.
