Vikki Cornett family

I am setting up this account to help Chad during this extremely difficult time. We all need a little help, from time to time, at some point in our lives. Chad has no idea that I am doing this. Although, his pride would never allow him to ask for this kind of help, Chad would be the first to offer the shirt off his back, should someone need it. He is much like Vikki in this respect. This is such a tragedy, on so many levels. When Vikki married Chad, she also took on the responsibility of helping him raise his daughter. She did this without hesitation and she did it amazingly. She was the mother that this little girl needed.
Chad works at PCS, which is a job that hires and lays off, frequently. With this being the case, Chad cannot remember if he added Vikki to his life insurance policy. Of course, the thought of losing his wife, at such a young age, never crossed his mind.
PCS has only given Chad three days of bereavement leave. He has been devastated by the loss of the love of his life. Three days is hardly enough time to grieve a loss of this magnitude. On top of this, Chad will need to find daycare for his daughter, as Vikki was her caregiver while he worked.
If you knew Vikki, you knew what a selfless, beautiful person she was. Chad was a great husband and is an amazing father. Chad and Vikki were truly soulmates. Their love for one another knew no bounds. It was what fairytales are made of.
If you could help in any small way, it would be much appreciated. No amount is too small. We all know that sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.
Please keep Vikki’s family in your prayers as they have a long and difficult road ahead.
