Buongiorno a tutti, 

mi chiamo Giglia sono una viticoltrice neodiplomata, ho iniziato questa raccolta fondi per far sì che il mio compagno, anche lui viticoltore neodiplomato, possa avere un aiuto per riuscire a continuare con la sua attività. 
 
Cantina Cristini e Figli Sagl nasce 3 anni fa, si tratta di un'azienda a conduzione famigliare di cui fanno parte due fratelli, Julian (30) con Etienne (34) ed il loro papà Gianni (63). 
 
Viticoltori e produttori di vino a livello amatoriale già ormai da più di vent’anni, con alle spalle vari riconoscimenti alla qualità dei vini prodotti. Nel 2021 decidono di cambiare definitivamente vita e lanciarsi a tempo pieno in questo grande progetto: ampliare la produzione, acquisendo ulteriori vigneti ed affittando uno spazio per aumentare le quantità di uva vinificate così da coronare il sogno di una vita. 
 
Purtroppo in questi 3 anni di attività cruciali per creare economicamente delle fondamenta aziendali solide; si sono verificate due forti grandinate che hanno portato l'azienda ad avere danni ingenti in vigna, dimezzando la produzione e causando conseguenti perdite economiche importanti. 
 
Purtroppo venerdì 12 luglio si è verificato un evento straordinario sul Bellinzonese, una grandinata mai vista prima ha distrutto completamente i vigneti e l'uva, facendo si che la vendemmia di quest'anno sarà durissima e in alcuni vigneti probabilmente non ci sarà nemmeno. 

I danni sono ingenti, il morale è a terra e la visione sul futuro è molto sfocata. 
 
Chiudere l’attività sarebbe una tristezza smisurata, un fallimento personale enorme ed uno spreco di talento, in quanto il settore vitivinicolo ticinese ha bisogno di giovani con grande passione e dedizione per portare avanti queste tradizioni. 
 
I risparmi per l’autofinanziamento si stanno esaurendo, la maggior parte dei vini ancora in affinamento riducono le entrate e la drastica situazione della ristorazione nella nostra regione ha messo questa famiglia in ginocchio, mancano i fondi per andare avanti e per riuscire a vendemmiare almeno il poco rimasto. 
 
Il Cantone e la Confederazione non danno aiuti per questo tipo di situazione e l'unica possibilità che resta è creare questa raccolta fondi. Sperando di riuscire a raccogliere questi soldi che coprirebbero solo una piccola parte del danno subito.

mein Name ist Giglia und ich bin eine neudiplomierte Winzerin. Ich habe diese Spendenaktion gestartet, damit mein Partner, ebenfalls ein neudiplomierter Winzer, Unterstützung erhält, um seine Tätigkeit fortsetzen zu können. 
 
Die «Cantina Cristini e Figli Sagl» wurde vor 3 Jahren gegründet und ist ein Familienunternehmen, zu dem die beiden Brüder Julian (30) und Etienne (34) sowie ihr Vater Gianni (63) gehören. Sie sind seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren Hobbywinzer und Weinproduzenten und wurden für die Qualität ihrer Weine mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Im Jahr 2021 beschlossen sie, ihr Leben grundlegend zu ändern und sich vollständig diesem grossen Projekt zu widmen: die Produktion zu erweitern, weitere Weinberge zu erwerben und Räumlichkeiten zu mieten, um die Menge der verarbeiteten Trauben zu erhöhen und so ihren Lebenstraum zu verwirklichen. 

Leider haben sich in diesen 3 entscheidenden Jahren, in denen sie wirtschaftlich eine solide Unternehmensbasis schaffen wollten, zwei starke Hagelstürme ereignet, die dem Unternehmen erhebliche Schäden in den Weinbergen zugefügt haben, die Produktion halbierten und zu wirtschaftlichen Verlusten führten. 

Am Freitag, den 12. Juli, ereignete sich im Raum Bellinzona leider ein aussergewöhnliches Ereignis: ein noch nie dagewesener Hagelsturm zerstörte die Weinberge und Trauben vollständig, sodass die Ernte in diesem Jahr sehr schwierig sein wird und in einigen Weinbergen möglicherweise gar nicht stattfindet. 

Die Schäden sind erheblich, die Moral ist am Boden und die Zukunftsaussichten sind sehr unklar. 

Die Schliessung des Betriebs wäre ein immenser Verlust, ein persönliches Scheitern und eine Verschwendung von Talent, da der Tessiner Weinsektor junge Menschen mit grosser Leidenschaft und Hingabe braucht, um diese Traditionen fortzuführen. Die Ersparnisse zur Selbstfinanzierung werden immer weniger, die meisten Weine sind noch in der Reifung, was die Einnahmen schmälert, und die drastische Situation in der Gastronomie unserer Region hat diese Familie in die Knie gezwungen. Es fehlen die Mittel, um weiterzumachen und zumindest das Wenige, was noch übrig ist, zu ernten. 

Der Kanton und der Bund leisten in solchen Situationen keine Unterstützung, und die einzige Möglichkeit, die bleibt, ist dieser Spendenaufruf. Wir hoffen, diese Gelder sammeln zu können, die wenigsten einen kleinen Teil des entstandenen Schadens abdecken würden.

My name is Giglia, I’m a recently graduated winemaker, and I’ve created this crowdfunding campaign to help my partner, also recently graduated, keep his business afloa 
 
Cantina Cristini e Figli Sagl was born 3 years ago. It’s a family business ran by two brothers, Julian (30 years old), Etienne (34 years old), and their father Gianni (63 years old). Prior to going into business, the family were successful amateur winemakers in their own right, with over 20 years’ experience in the field, and several awards to their name. In 2021, they decided to embark full time on a huge project to fulfil a lifelong dream: transforming a family passion into a commercial operation through the upscaling of production. Sadly, the first 3 years, a crucial time in any business, has been beset by massive and unforeseeable issues - two strong hailstorms caused extensive damage to vineyards at a critical time in the winemaking calendar, halving production and resulting in significant financial losses. 

To make things worse, on Friday 12 July 2024, another extraordinary meteorological event, in the form of another hailstorm, the likes of which had never been seen before in Bellinzona, caused massive damage across the region and completely destroyed the vineyards and grapes alike. Achieving a successful harvest as a result is now nigh on impossible this year. Damage is extensive, morale is low and the future of the busines is bleak. 

Closing the business would be immeasurably sad. It would feel like an enormous personal failure, and it would be awful to see Julian and Etienne, two young people with great passion, talent and dedication to their craft, be unable to carry on the wine making tradition of Ticino. 

Savings are dwindling and the majority of wines from past harvests are still in the refinement process. This, compounded by the dire state of the hospitality industry in our region has brought this family to its knees. There is a lack of funds to carry on and to be able to harvest what little has survived. 

Unfortunately, the canton and Confederation don’t provide any of sort of financial aid for this type of circumstance and the only choice left is to set up this crowdfund in the hope of raising enough money to cover a small part of the damage suffered. 
 
We’re trying to stay strong and not to give up.
