"Vietnam Vet" looses his Battle
Donation protected
My father is 67 and was diagnosed in December with stage 4 cancer.. Dad enlisted in the Army at 19yrs old and served in Vietnam 1970 . He was exposed to agent orange, and was in the heaviest sprayed area's during that time.. He has had (9) rounds of chemotherapy and (1) round of radiation. He recently spent (3) week's in the hospital fighting sepsis. His body is now to weak to continue any treatment and is now home receiving hospice care.
My father was treated at the VA in Richmond. He lives in the Fredericksburg area and was told not only did the VA over treat him, but he could have been treated locally in Fredericksburg the whole time. My father has made the front page of the Free Lance Star and is speaking out for ALL VETERANS and the CARE THEY DESERVE, BUT ARE NOT RECEIVING
Over the past (8) months my mother has been my dad's main caregiver, at the same time working a full time job. With ONE income, medical bills, transportation cost and monthly bills, it has put even more stress on my father.
If it's only $1 or a simple prayer, a share or speaking out to the government about the care the Vietnam Veterans are NOT receiving, it IS SO MUCH APPRECIATED!
