I’m Hope. I’m 15 and I’m currently working towards an incredible opportunity to take part in a school expedition to Vietnam — a journey that promises to be both life-changing and deeply meaningful.

This is a self-funded experience, and over the coming months I’ll be working super hard to raise the funds needed to make it happen.

The expedition isn’t just about travel; it’s about making a real difference. While in Vietnam, we’ll be supporting local communities through hands-on projects, giving our time and energy to help where it’s most needed. Alongside this, we’ll have the chance to immerse ourselves in the country’s rich culture, history and way of life.

What makes this even more special is that we are planning and preparing the trip ourselves. From organising logistics to developing teamwork and independence, every step is part of the journey. It’s a unique chance to grow in confidence, resilience and global awareness - and I’m super excited! This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — one that will shape my perspective and stay with me forever.
