On September 20th, Maria, a Category 5 Hurricane ravaged our small island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. The eye wall hit the island head on leaving mass devestation in it's path.
Originally from North Carolina, I have been a major part of the Vieques Island community for more than 10 years now and feel an overwhelming need to help in any and every way possible. This GoFundMe will be used to assist in relief efforts on the island as well as to help the people of the island. It will buy supplies for families in need and supply funds for evacutations and ground efforts. Being the Administrator of the Largest Social Media Group for the Island will afford me the recources to allocate the donated funds where most needed. I will be responsible for withdrawing the funds in my name.
Please help our "little island that could" get back on it's feet. Every little bit helps out members of our Island Family. Please help us in making #ViequesStrong again.
