<div>Hello everyone,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For those who remember, I had to previously crowdfund to make up for unpaid rent after experiencing my loss of a job. Since then, I have yet to find a job. As you can imagine this has been extremely distressing for my mental health. There is a major lack of employment opportunities right now in the Bay Area for trans people, and we expect hiring to become more challenging as corporate entities and businesses take away DEI initiatives and proper policies meant to protect us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have been blessed enough to have a couch to sleep on, but it has been a few months now, and I desperately am struggling to find a place I can afford.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I hope with these funds, along with my very slow processing of my tax returns, I’ll be able to afford a room with several other housemates. With these funds I’ll also be able to pay my storage unit fees that are due soon (I’ve been living out of suitcases) .

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you or anyone you know may have employment opportunities I would love to hear about them, and they can reach me at my Instagram : @vida.manzo .

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>No one wants to have to crowdfund. No one wants the struggles of a trans woman. Alas despite my attempts at solving my problems independently, I am faced with the reality that I must ask community once again for help. This isn’t laziness or a lack of effort, but rather systemic injustice, some of which has been inflicted upon me and others.
</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for your support, even if it’s just a share.
