Victoria's hopes and dreams

Hi Everyone,  In May this year (2017) one of my oldest and best friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer - this was a huge shock to all of her friends and family and we are all truly devastated but determined to fight with her all the way.  Victoria served in the Royal Navy and is a truly remarkable human being, one of the loveliest you could ever hope to meet and I for one feel privileged to have her in my life.   The hardest thing about being a friend of someone with such a cruel disease is that you feel completely useless and can do nothing except be there for them and offer undwindling love and support, you can't make it go away and no amount of money will  change her prognosis BUT it will go a long way to help her make precious memories with her Husband, two young children and the rest of her family and friends - she has no "bucket list" - she does not long to change the world, jump out of planes or visit far flung lands - the most important thing in Victoria's life is her family and friends and the opportunity to spend as much quality time as she possibly can with them and funds raised here will be used to help her do just that.
Victoria would never set this page up herself but I, and many others, would like to do something to help ease any financial burden of paying for travel insurance for a short trip away with her Husband and quality days out with their children.
