The Victorian State Ballet is a not-for-profit organisation serving the Victorian community with outstanding classical ballet and contemporary dance repertoire. VSB also offers wonderful engagement opportunities to youth artists across Victoria and extending to interstate throughout the year. This year the Victorian State Ballet has experienced significant growth which necessitates moving to larger premises, enabling the company to host more principal artists, regional victorian youth artists, community classes and engagement programs. This new move will help us to function at our best and continue improving the quality of our performances and purpose for the people of Victoria. These new facilities will provide dancing areas of 200 square meter studios, a minimum of 20 car parks, a rumpus area for dancers, waiting rooms with kitchenette for family and friends plus a new office for improved management of the organisation. VSB is seeking public donations to help with fit-out costs. Your donations will help go towards the setup of high tech impact absorbent sprung flooring, build customized dressing rooms, friends and families rumpus areas, new sound and lighting equipment plus stage curtains for the in-house educational performances, community engagment workshops and open fitness sessions. In accordance to our mission, this new venue will help VSB accommodate more regional youth artists and their families and provide the company dancers with optimal resources to fullfill their duties at VSB. Resources include larger spaces to train and rehearse more completely. Due to the fact that this opportunity came up very quickly, VSB is forced to complete the full funding by 30th September 2017. Since VSB is a non-profit organisation and holds a direct gift recipient status, all donations greater than $2 are tax deductable.
To issue your tax-deductable receipt, all VSB needs is to know is your full name, address and contact details. In advance we want to thank you for your financial contribution and continuous support to the Victorian State Ballet.
