Victor Bergeron, my beloved Papa was known to many. He was incredibly good natured, funny, and forever saw his glass as half full. He was a loyal Habs fan and an avid golfer. On Dec 10th, following three strokes starting on 22 November, Papa passed away peacefully surrounded by family. We miss him so much.
In honour of his memory and his contributions to healthcare (he worked in medical sales for Ingram and Bell for 32 years), we would like to set up a Memorial Scholarship in his name. Cost of tuition can be prohibitive for some students to pursue university or the specific degree is chosen based on what they can afford. We would like to provide Scholarship(s) to students in their 3rd+ year of study, often when funds are at their tightest. We are currently in discussions with UnBC about the process.
