<div>On July 4th, our family’s lives changed in an instant. My wife, our three young children, and I were involved in a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver. Tragically, there were fatalities in the other vehicle.

<div>Our family survived, but not without serious injuries. I suffered a femur fracture requiring surgery. My wife sustained fractures in her arm and wrist that also require surgical repair. Our 3-year-old daughter broke her leg, one of our twin boys broke his arm, and the other suffered a fractured rib. Each of us has spent time in the hospital and now faces a long road to recovery.

<div>As you can imagine, this has brought not only physical pain but overwhelming emotional and financial strain. Both my wife and I are unable to work due to our injuries, and we do not have any compensation for the complete loss of income during this time. Along with multiple surgeries, hospital stays, and ongoing medical care, the financial burden has become incredibly difficult.

<div>We also recently became homeowners, and this unexpected tragedy has made it even more challenging to keep up with everyday expenses while focusing on healing and caring for our children. <div>El 4 de julio, las vidas de nuestra familia cambiaron en un instante.

<div>Mi esposa, nuestros tres hijos pequeños y yo estuvimos involucrados en un devastador accidente automovilístico causado por un conductor que manejaba bajo los efectos del alcohol. Trágicamente, hubo personas fallecidas en el otro vehículo.

<div>Nuestra familia sobrevivió, pero no sin sufrir lesiones graves. Yo sufrí una fractura de fémur que requirió cirugía. Mi esposa sufrió fracturas en el brazo y la muñeca que también requieren cirugía. Nuestra hija de 3 años se fracturó una pierna, uno de nuestros hijos gemelos se fracturó un brazo y el otro sufrió una fractura de costilla. Cada uno de nosotros ha pasado tiempo hospitalizado y ahora enfrenta un largo camino hacia la recuperación.

<div>Como podrán imaginar, esta tragedia ha traído no solo dolor físico, sino también una enorme carga emocional y económica. Tanto mi esposa como yo no podemos trabajar debido a nuestras lesiones y no contamos con licencia médica remunerada, lo que ha significado una pérdida total de nuestros ingresos durante este tiempo. Además de las múltiples cirugías, las hospitalizaciones y la atención médica continua, la carga financiera se ha vuelto extremadamente difícil de sobrellevar.

<div>Recientemente también nos convertimos en propietarios de nuestra primera casa, y esta tragedia inesperada ha hecho aún más difícil cubrir los gastos cotidianos mientras nos concentramos en recuperarnos y cuidar de nuestros hijos.

<div>Con mucha humildad, les pedimos su apoyo durante este momento tan difícil. Cualquier donación, sin importar la cantidad, nos ayudará a cubrir los gastos médicos y a brindar estabilidad a nuestra familia mientras nos recuperamos.
