Victims of explosion in Ferizaj (Kosovo)

On January 5th, 2021 more than 40 people were injured after a propane tank exploded inside a Steak House Restaurant in Ferizaj, Kosovo. Six of the injured are in serious condition. The Ministry of Health has sent four of them to Turkey for surgery but two have been left behind.  Fidan Gashi is one of the two who is in desperate need of help to be sent to Turkey for surgery. He was one of the victims in the restaurant along with his pregnant wife, daughter, father and two sisters. Fidan was trying to protect his daughter when 35% of his body was burnt including his face, head, hands and back. The doctors in Kosovo have put him in an induced coma but have said that the surgery is too extensive and that he needs to be sent to Turkey immediately. The hospital in Turkey has asked for 100,000 Euros for his surgery. Please help in any way that you can. Every amount helps and is appreciated.

The money that has been raised will now be sent to his family members who have also been injured in the explosion and are in need of care. Fidan was their only source of income.
