Support Victims of Cyclone Freddy: Malawi, Africa
Donation protected
Greetings,
I am Mada Daniel Nkhoma, a Malawian national studying in Germany. I am raising funds to help some victims of cyclone Freddy in Malawi, the most devastating and strongest cyclone ever recorded worldwide. It has plundered several countries including Malawi, the hardest hit.
Over 670 people are confirmed dead and 1, 200 more are feared dead and counting in Malawi alone (Africa News, 30 March 2023). And many others have been rendered homeless including 5 families closest to me, luckily they survived.
Cyclone Freddy has come when Malawi is battling Malaria and cholera. The latter is a water-borne disease spread through unhygienic conditions. The victims are lodging in schools and churches & urgently in need of clean water, good sanitation, food, shelter, mosquito nets, and medical and counselling services.

I am kindly appealing to you to kindly assist with whatever amount of money you are willing to give, every cent will go a long way.
The funds collected will be used to help the 5 affected families closest to me specifically, and each will receive 50% of cash donations to kickstart a new life from scratch; while 25% will buy them essential needs mentioned for victims lodging in camps, schools and churches. The remaining funds will be used to meet the needs of affected children and pay mental health counsellors as cases of depression and suicidal thoughts have increased.
Imagine sleeping with plans & the following day you are homeless... Loss can happen to anyone at any time.
Thank you so much.
