Victims in Acapulco affected by hurricane Otis

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Pamela and I am from Monterrey, Mexico. As you might have seen in the news, Acapulco was hit by Hurricane Otis (category 5) on October 25, 2023. The destruction that Hurricane Otis caused is unmeasurable. Acapulco wasn’t prepared for this catastrophic event. More than half of Acapulco’s population is currently leaving in disaster-affected areas; most of them waiting for aid after the hurricane.

I am creating this Go Fund Me page to help those in desperate need for food, water and basic necessities to survive. All the proceeds will go to the “Mexican Red Cross” and to “World Central Kitchen”, a non profit founded by renowned chef José Andrés. I have no relationship to this organizations but I have been following them for some time and support their missions.

A little bit of the organizations that will receive the donated money:
  • The Cruz Roja Mexicana serves people or communities affected by emergency or disaster situations, health problems, illnesses and injuries due to accidents, as well as the phenomena of migration and social exclusion. Their mission is to protect life and health and ensure respect for human life.
  • World Central Kitchen is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. It was founded in 2010 by chef José Andrés.

I appreciate your help and support. There is no such thing as a small contribution, anything will do to help Acapulco during this desperate times.
