<div>Hi everyone, my name is Paula Draper I live in the UK and I'm the mum of Matt Hale who lives in Jasper, Alberta.  Many people local to Formby will know Matt from Range High School.  He is 26 and has been living in Canada since last September and last week 90% of his personal possessions were destroyed in the wildfire raging through Jasper.  His rented house has been burned to the ground.  He's been evacuated to a hotel in Calgary for now but left Jasper with his phone, laptop and the clothes he stood up in.  He's lost all of his clothing and expensive winter gear for working next winter's ski season.  The campground he was working at this summer has also been destroyed.  Canadian government have given all evacuees £800 but it doesn't begin to cover what he's lost.  Family will help him but if you could help out with even a small donation we'd all be really grateful.
