Victorian Lamb Rescue Donations

This page is an ongoing fundraiser campaign to meet general ongoing costs involved in caring for our foster lambs.    These costs include veterinary treatment, medical supplies, formula, nappies, feed and care needs.
A donation of:
$10 = a bale of hay
$15 = a pack of nappies
$ 30 = a course of antibiotics
$50 = a vet consultation
$90 = enough formula to raise 1 lamb
$180 = one castration surgery
Every dollar makes a difference!
Thank you for your support ❤

Victorian Lamb Rescue Inc. is a registered not for profit organisation. Our primary objective is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome lambs and sheep, provide sanctuary to animals in need, educate the public on the issues affecting lambs in Australia and create opportunities for people to get to know and spend time with some of the amazing individuals that come into our care.

Where reasonably possible, Victorian Lamb Rescue provides immediate, practical assistance to lambs and sheep in urgent need of sanctuary due to abandonment, illness or welfare concerns. We accept surrendered animals from farmers and members of the public whom, for various reasons, are unwilling or unable to care for them themselves. We do not encourage anyone to enter private property or remove animals without permission.

All of the individuals surrendered to us are assessed to identify any immediate medical care needs and given appropriate veterinary treatment without delay.  We work closely with veterinarians to ensure they are given every opportunity to live happy, healthy lives.

As well as fostering lambs at our sanctuary, we seek to train and equip a network of foster carers across the state who will provide quality care to orphaned lambs in their homes on a short to mid term basis until an appropriate permanent home is found. Foster carers come from all walks of life. It can be an incredibly joyous experience and training/support is provided. Enquire today!

Sheep make wonderful companions! We match lambs of all ages with caring people who wish to provide a loving forever home to 2 or more sheep. We love our lambs as much as any other pets/companion animals so naturally we want them to go to great homes and have lovely long lives. If you're interested in applying to adopt any of our babies please contact us for a copy of our adoption agreement and to arrange a property suitability check.

Victorian Lamb rescue aims to bring awareness to the plight of lambs in Australia by helping the public understand why lambs need rescuing and providing opportunities for people to get to know sheep as the unique, intelligent, sentient individuals they truly are.

We operate a small sanctuary in regional Victoria. Many lambs are fostered on site and we provide a loving forever home to those who, due to disability and/or higher care needs, cannot be rehomed. Our woolly residents are joined by roosters, ducks, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, rats and horses who also call the sanctuary home.

There are many ways you can get involved in the great work being done by Vic. Lamb Rescue. From Fostering and adoption to fundraising and volunteering, there's something for everyone! If you feel you'd like to help in some way, please get in touch.

We rely heavily on monetary donations to cover all of our veterinary and ongoing care costs.
Thank you for your generous contribution!
