Vickie Currie - Celebration of Life

This fund is to honor the life of my mother, Vickie Currie. My mom fought incredibly hard against her battle with cancer, but ultimately the cancer took her life on November 20. She is the strongest woman I know. Everybody absolutely loved my mother. She was a true joy and anybody who met her walked away better because of her smile and warm spirit.  My mom was a die-hard Carolina Tarheels fan and the biggest supporter there ever was! She took her Tarheels seriously and didn't miss watching a game.

My Mom was a single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for me and my siblings. She made sure we had unconditional love and every opportunity possible to succeed.

I'm currently an undergraduate student at UNCG in the process of taking my final exams. Though my mother had cancer, her passing was unexpected as she was recently doing very well in her fight.  My college journey is something that made my mother and family very proud. I want to continue to finish this journey, honoring her legacy - but also, I want to be able to honor her life with a beautiful celebration.  This is an emotionally and financially difficult time, but I know we'll get through this and would appreciate any support you can provide.

Please help us give my mother a beautiful homegoing cememony. She provided so much joy, light and laughter for so many people everyday.
