Vicki's Kenya Trip

Hi! My name is Vicki Caswell and a few weeks ago, I was praying that the Lord would show me the next step of obedience He has planned for me. At that very moment I got a Facebook message from a friend that said, “Hey. Go to Kenya with me in August?”
Well, then. So, Lord, could You be a little more clear?
I took the step. I have committed to travel with an Extreme Response Women’s Advocacy team (http://extremeresponse.org/our-programs/womens-advocacy ) from August 13-22.
We will be working with the Belwop Project, which was started by a dynamic woman named Veronica Mumbi. She began the ministry 10 years ago to give hope and a home to the violated, neglected and orphaned children of Nyeri, Kenya. Hope House is a safe haven for young rape victims who are overcoming their trauma. Belwop Shine Academy provides on-site schooling for Pre-K through middle school.

It is amazing how at age 51, God is reawakening my heart for missions, a dream and passion of mine since I was in my 20s. I haven’t had the opportunity to take a short-term mission trip in years, and I feel both anticipation and trepidation at the thought.
The cost of the trip will be about $4500. Now I take the step of faith in asking for support. Would you please prayerfully consider giving?
