Mike Smith Memorial
Donation protected
On Sunday, March 22, Mike Smith lost his life to complications related to a health condition he fought hard to battle. Mike will be deeply missed. He had an infectious personality and a unique gift for making people who met him leave feeling happier. He wore that gift with an easy charm - and it was rooted in the fact that he was smart, dedicated, humble and encouraging. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, friend, mentor and co-worker.
Mike was an Ironman athlete. He just had that sort of spirit. You can get a small glimpse into Mike from the photo below. Mike worked for Starbucks at the corporate office as a leading technologist. He raised the level in terms of both technology and in lifting the human spirit. Mike was famous for having people talk about him and just instinctively say "Yeah - I love that guy".
We are lucky for the time we had with him. His light lives on in all the people he touched, made smile and encouraged along the way.
Mike is survived by his wife Shannon and his children: Lauren, Tyler and Kami. All monies raised here will go toward memorial expenses, with all remaining funds given directly to Shannon and her children to use as they move forward.
