In December 2015 Parker developed a rare condition called LCH or Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. LCH behaves like cancer and presented as a tumor pushing on the optic nerve, behind the eye, under the eye and into his sinus - overall the mass of a golf ball.
Since December, Parker has been undergoing regular chemo and steriod treatments to shrink the tumor and hopefully remove it all together. The doctors are anticipating he will need treatment for the rest of 2016. While on the treatment, Parker is extremely susceptible to infections and is unable to go to child care. As a result, Ange has been unable to work which you can imagine is a huge financial strain. We are hoping to raise money to allow a nanny to look after Parker one day a week for the rest of the year so Ange can go to work.
Parker, Ange, Ben and Sienna mean the world to us and we hope that in a small way, this will make the journey ahead a little smoother.
