Get Kids Going! London Marathon team 2024

Hi there! My name is Maddie Stambaugh and if you know me, you know that running marathons is my passion, as is working with kids and young adults. As an educator whose passion lies in sports and the power that sport can have on our confidence and well-being, getting to take part in the 2024 London Marathon as part of the Get Kids Going! team is an opportunity that I am so excited about! Being just a small part of creating equity in sports is important to me. I have wanted to run the London Marathon since I began marathoning in 2014, and I can't think of a better way to do it than by giving back to youth in sports.

Get Kids Going! is a national charity that gives disabled children and young adults the wonderful opportunity to participate in athletics. Your donation provides them access to specially built sports equipment and wheelchairs so they can do anything they set their mind to. Get Kids Going! gives disabled children and young people the chance of a lifetime, freedom, and many fantastic opportunities that you and I take for granted.
