Dental for Dad

Dear Community,
I am raising money to pay for my fathers implant surgery for teeth that are breaking in his mouth when he tries to eat something even as soft as a hamburger. The funds will cover the tooth extractions, oral surgery, bone grafting and follow-up procedures/medical costs, not covered by insurance.
My own personal dental office stated “dental insurance is more of a coupon so when major procedures need to be done it’s usually not covered and can be very expensive out of pocket.” I have reached out to programs that offer discounted dental care, but even the cost at dental schools are expensive (15k and up) for clip in dentures, which doesn’t include the bone grafting he needs, and it requires being selected by a lottery system.
I am trying to raise 25k cover all of the cost he will incur, if you kind souls donate we can meet our goal and get my hard working blue collar father the teeth he deserves and needs desperately. I'm trying to raise the funds as soon as possible to help prevent any complications that come from the the type of condition my fathers teeth are in.

I am so grateful for the sacrifices my father has made all of his life so that my mother, and all of my siblings wouldn’t go without. Working three jobs so that my mother could finish college and become a special needs teacher so that we might have a better life. Without his consistent commitment to being such a wonderful father and always believing in me I wouldn’t be where I am today as a Registered Nurse having the privilege to take care of others in their time of need, and if I had it I would pay for my father to have the teeth that will provide him with a better quality of life.
A smile is the first thing a person sees and my Dad doesn’t smile as much anymore due to all of the decay and breakage that has occurred. He has always brushed and flossed, but due to expensive crowns he was unable to afford (because he didn’t want the rest of his family to go without) and a genetic predisposition for weak enamel his teeth have continued to worsen. He cooks dinner every night for my mother and younger siblings regardless of the painful task it is for him to eat himself. A quote from my father, “what I would give to be able to eat a raw carrot again.” It breaks my heart for him to be in so much pain doing something as simple as eating that is so necessary for life. Please help me help my father. After a lifetime of kindness and sacrifice he is now the one who needs to be the one getting lent a helping hand. I too will be putting away money to help my father and whatever I am able to save will be updated on the page to lower the overall goal reached.
