Zion Fire Restoration Phase 1

http://m.wtol.com/toledonewsnow/db/347256/content/X56i8jAeOn November 10, Zion Lutheran School in Toledo, OH had a fire that originated in the boiler room. Thanks be to God, the fire walls and door did their job and contained the fire and that the fire happened at night when no children or staff were present. We are thankful to whomever made the 911 call, the Toledo Fire Department, and, again, our good and gracious Heavenly Father.
While the boiler room is the only total loss, the rest of the building has extensive smoke and water damage. We are still very much committed to sharing Jesus with the children He has entrusted to our care, but the building will remain unusable for three months or more. This means that we will need portable buildings for these months. This is where you come into play. Insurance will only cover $10,000 of these expenses and we estimate the cost to be much more. All of these funds will go directly to Zion to offset these costs. Please help us to continue providing a quality education rooted in Christ to students even during this event. Please continue to pray for Zion, the children and their families as we pull together to keep things going!
