Make A Handicapped Bathroom For VFW

I wanted to do something to honor my grandfather, who recently passed away. He was always proud of his and his family’s military service, so a natural fit was speaking with the Westport VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars). I was surprised and saddened to learn that there was no handicapped bathroom in the facility. It amazed me that these brave men and women, who often lose limbs, or end up handicapped in some way, do not even have a bathroom that accommodates them. I am raising funds to draw up plans, apply for a city permit, and then undergo the creation of this bathroom. Any additional funds will be used for other improvements in the VFW. Please help me honor my grandfather and the brave men and women that have fought for this country. Thank you and anything you do is greatly appreciated.
