Humanitarian Help For Venezuela

Hello! Our names are Jorge and Carolina Moreno, we live in Humble Texas, and are originally from Caracas, Venezuela. In May 2016, after growing weary because of the desperate situation that my brother was going through due to the lack of food and medicines, Jorge and I sent our first box, with a lot of sacrifice, full of food for my brother who lives in Venezuela. Since then, thanks to your donations, we have sent over 80 boxes that not only help him but several family members , single moms, friends, an orphanage, a home for the elderly, people that work in one of the universities cleaning bathrooms, the parking lots, and in the cafeteria, and our last endeavor cooking for anyone that goes out in the afternoons to search in the trash for food, one meal, so they don't go to bed with an empty stomach! Our families have done an outstanding job, they receive everything and then distribute according to the needs. When we sent for an specific group of individuals we sent everyone the same thing, basic foods and toiletries to help them stand the crisis that they are going through. We must continue sending the help until the country goes back to normal! The shipping is expensive, they take a month to reach all of the destinations that we sent to, but we CANNOT do it without you! At the moment we have so much to send that Jorge and I decided to start this page!

So please, any donations that you can give will help us send one more box!!! We want them to know that they are not forgotten, that somebody cares!!! We use the shipping company Conavenca, and the funds will be used to pay for the shipping and purchase shipping boxes, tape, and whatever items is needed to be sent but have not been donated yet. We keep receipts of everything just in case!
