Medical Mission Trip to Peru

Hi all-
 I am embarking on a medical mission trip to Sacred Valley, Peru to provide medical care and education. Sacred Valley is located in the Andes Mountains and they have very limited access to healthcare in these villages. There will be various health clinics set up (anemia, musculo-skeletal, vision clinic, hygiene, and CPR) in addition to basic medical care. This go-fund-me is to help with expenses to get there, in addition to purchasing medications in Peru (helping the local economy). I am also taking physical donations of your old sunglasses, and prescription glasses that are in wearable condition to pass out after eye exams to those in need. 
  Supporting this helps dozens of families who are less fortunate that we are. These families can go over a year without medical attention because they don't have the means to travel into a larger city and cannot afford the care. Many times they wait until the following year when PHOP (Peru Health Outreach Program) returns. This trip is hosted by the Lerner College of Medicine, however--because I am not a Lerner student I will receive no funding from them. When in Peru, we will partner with staff and students from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima. Below are some photos from last year's trip.
