Veterinarian Expenses for Chloe

Donation protected
As most of you may know, my brother Marc & his friend Kathy  lost their fur baby Chloe  today. Chloe was only 4 years old and unbeknownst to Marc got into an area of the backyard that was off limits to her and  double baricaded. She knocked over a small amount of leftover sealed antifreeze that was on a shelf and ingested it. Marc took her to the Vet the next day after he realized she was vomitting and losing her balance. The Vet sent them home diagnosing her with possible Vertigo.
Her condition worsened the following day and they took her to North Star where they were able to diagnose her condition through further testing. During the diagnosis Marc went home and explored his yard further and found the empty, spilled container which put all the pieces together.
Chloe was in ICU from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning and her Vet bills are $6,000.
Everyone that knows Marc, knows that his life has been his dogs. First Gator, who he found in the Everglades in Florida....tattooed, breeded out and not wanted any longer by her breeders and he gave her a home. Their next dog Alli lived a good life until they had to put her to sleep due to Cancer.  Their third dog, Chloe was a gift to Marc from Kathy after Alli passed. About 2 1/2 years ago, Marc and Kathy broke up. Chloe resided with Marc but Kathy would still take her for weekends,  occasionaly visit her and  keep her whenever Marc went out of town.
I am starting this Go Fund Me for my brother because he had major back surgery  (a spinal fusion) earlier this year and is on a fixed income. He is unable to work at the time, owns a home and this was an expense he did not forsee.
As a pet owner all of my adult life myself and Marc on his third large dog, we understand that when you own a pet there are expenses. When you decide to become a pet owner it is is for better or worse, in sickness and in health........Yes, it's like a marriage. These veterinary  bills were not only unexpected but they were due to the simple diagnosis and stabilization of Chloe. No extreme measures were taken to save her life as there was nothing they could do.
I know it seems every time you turn around someone has a Go Fund Me set up for one thing or another.
We are just asking animals lovers, Marc & Kathy's family and friends to help put a dent in Chloe's medical bills. Thank you so much for your consideration in helping him. If you can't afford to help, please say a prayer for Marc and Kathy as their hearts have been broken by this loss.
*Please note Marc would like to adopt or rescue another dog in the near future. However, he will not be 'purchasing' a puppy due to obvious reasons.
