Veterans Corner Honor Roll Project

Donation protected
Lest We Forget...the Veterans Corner was created over thirty years ago by Edgar P. Romilly as a physical remembrance dedicated to the men and women from Littleton who chose to put service above self and join the armed forces.

We are asking for your support to help us honor those who are no longer with us; those who have served; and those who continue to fight for our freedom. It is important that we support our Veterans and active military service members today, tomorrow and always!

These men and women are the former youth of Littleton. Many of them were just barely 18 years old when they turned their tassel and headed off to start a new chapter in their life and fight for our freedom. They would gain new skills, learn new traditions, and face challenges we could never imagine.  Conflicts such as World War I, World War II, Vietnam, the Gulf War, Desert Storm and the Iraq War were fought by service members from Littleton.  Today, many Littleton residents are still fighting for our freedom in different corners of the world and continue to protect us here at home.

There are over 200 veterans and active military service members from Littleton who will be added to the Veterans Corner Honor Roll and we anticipate that by the time of unveiling this number will have grown to as many as 300-500 service members.

We feel it is our duty to carry on the vision of Edgar P. Romilly and honor the service men and women of Littleton by updating Veterans Corner. This project will include the expansion and replacement of the paved
walkway and area, the installation of at least two new monument stones with plaques, the installation of two granite benches, lighting of the flag pole and new landscaping.

The projected cost of the project is $60,000.00. The legacy committee will be donating $10,000.00 and we are hoping to raise the remaining $50,000.00 through this Go Fund Me and other fundraising endeavors.   Our goal is to unveil this project on Veterans Day, 2018.

This fund is solely f/b/o The Littleton, MA., Veterans Corner project and 100% of the proceeds (less the Go Fund Me fees) will be used for this purpose.  The fund with be managed by officials from the Town of Littleton and John Boroski, Veterans Agent.
