Veterans Memorial Statue casted in bronze
13 foot Veteran Memorial Statue Casted in Classic Bronze in San Antonio, Texas
The Bexar County Commissioners Court has given permission to the Department of Texas Military Order of The Purple Heart to lead the effort to place a Veterans Memorial Statue in front of the new Bexar County Public Works building on Probandt street. The statue titled “The Tip of the Spear” was sculpted by the late renowned artist Michael Boyett. The beautiful bronze state will gleam in the sun as observers memorialize veterans from all branches and all conflicts since WWI and service members who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Bexar County has graciously donated the memorial site, but it is the responsibility of The Department of Texas Military Order of the Purple Heart, other Veteran organizations, businesses, and the public to raise the funds for this beautiful 13 foot bronze casted statue.
The cost, at this point in time, is $460,000.00.
Please kindly consider a donation for this Veteran’s memorial in honor of all who have served. Thank you.
