Veterans Home Walk and Wheel Way

This is a project by the Rotary Club of Langhorne PA to install a walk and wheel way of pavers, three flagpoles and lights for the flags at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home in Philadelphia.   Currently the ground is inaccessible for wheelchairs and is not usable, so the veterans sit in their wheelchairs in the driveway outside the building entrance, partially blocking the driveway.  Besides being dangerous and uncomfortable, it's an unattractive situation for the veterans.  We hope to have the walkway finished in time for Memorial Day celebrations.  This project will serve to make the ground usable as well as be a source of pride to the 170 veterans at the home.  Please donate to this project to enhance the final years of these veterans.  Delaware Valley Veterans Home
