Veteran's Hail Damaged Roof

I started this GoFundMe page to help my neighbor, Gerald.

On May 8, 2017 Denver and surrounding areas experienced a tremendous hail storm, causing severe damage to many vehicles, businesses and residences.

The Denver Post did a story with some pretty serious photos of the damage:

While just about every roof in my neighborhood has been replaced as a result of damage caused by the  1 to 2.5 inch hail, my neighbor Gerald has not been able to obtain much needed repairs.

Gerald is a Vietnam veteran who has retired in the home his parents left him, and he does not have home insurance as most of us are fortunate to have.

I'm concerned that one or two heavy snows might result in the roof collapsing and Gerald losing the only home he has.

Please help if you can.  I'm hoping to raise enough to have Gerald's roof replaced before the Denver winter arrives with heavy snows - which could literally be any day.

Any amount you can spare is really appreciated and will help a very deserving man.

Once sufficient funds are collected we will manage replacement of the roof for Gerald and post photos of the before and after!
