A Life for Jordain Lynne “Jo-Jo”

Jo-Jo’s life’s journey would begin in doctor’s offices emergency rooms,MRI tunnels, and eventually on a voyage across the waters from Wiesbaden Air-force Base Germany on a C130 MedEvac plane to Andrews Air Force base located in Prince George’s Maryland. Upon arrival my baby girl and I would be taken to Walter Reed’s Medical Facility in Washington DC. It wouldn’t the last of Jo-Jo’s travels, but it would be one that would save & ultimately define her life as it is today.

It was Walter Reed Medical Center where my Jo’Jo (twin baby #2)would be diagnosed with a brain injury which caused life threatening seizures & debilitating cerebral palsy. As time passed Jo-Jo’s condition would classify her as mentally challenged & she would start the Early Intervention Program in neighboring Montgomery County Maryland.

I raised Jo-Jo and her twin sister after serving 8 years in the U.S Army. Upon my eldest twin’s graduation I would return to my home of residence in Illinois;a suburb of Chicago were JoJo & I currently reside.

The relocation & adjustment would prove to be very stressful and as a Gulf War Army Veteran with PTSD it would cause me to have to go on disability.Unfortunately the move would also be counterproductive for JoJo’s development and quality of life. Illinois ranks as a “F”for individuals with disabilities.

Jo-Jo is in desperate need of services to included a residency program. As her mother & (only caretaker) I am a Disabled Veteran, Who underwent major surgery. Caring for Jo’Jo has become extremely difficult so I have decided to relocate back to Maryland where she can get the care she needs, with decent & safe facilities something Chicago & the surrounding area has very few if any at all.

Due to my ongoing medical treatment, relocating would be a severe hardship.
I am humbly asking for donations so that I can relocate take back to Maryland & arrange for her placement in a residential facility. Donations would assist the move back to Maryland, & set up temporary housing.
Due to Jo-Jo’s physical disabilities special housing & transportation are imperative.
I will be tending to Jo-Jo until she is placed in a residential home for Adults with Special Needs, lastly Jordain would need funds for attorney fees so that I am able to set up a trust and guardianship in case Something should happen where I am unable to care
For her.
Jo-Jo has been my world for 27 years,
I want to give her joy and happiness & the quality of life she so deserves.

I know I speak for Jo-Jo when I say donations are sincerely & gratefully appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
