Vet Help for Rylander Family after Bella's passing

For sweet Bella...
 
Sage and Danielle Rylander would truly appreciate anyone willing to pitch in to help their family with the vet costs for their dog Bella. These vet bills are from trying to save their beloved Bella dog after she was tragically shot in their front yard.
 
Bella was the sweetest dog that loved and cared for the Rylander family.  She was gentle and cautious, warning with a bark if there was an unwelcome visitor.  Yet, would greet you with the sweetest wags and kisses once she got to know you, and would sweetly cuddled up by your feet as you went to bed.  She was a beloved part of the family who helped comfort through so many hard days.  Oh, she will be missed!
 
On Friday, October 9th, Bella was briefly outside in the front yard with the Rylander family when a neighbor shot her three times in the head. The family immediately rushed sweet Bella to the vet hospital, who were able to stabilize her and do a CT scan which showed the injuries. Bella had a cracked skull aside from multiple brain injuries which, besides the extensive rehabilitation with so many injuries, would leave her unable to walk. Given the severity of Bella's injuries, they made the heartbreaking decisions to put her down on Saturday, October 10th.


The vet shared Bella was truly one of the sweetest dogs she had ever cared for and could see her gentle nature. The family has been through multiple losses over the last few years, pets and beloved family, and is grieved to lose their faithful dog, especially in such a violent and senseless way.
 
The vet informed the family that the neighbor likely shot Bella with a rifle and not a bb gun as they initially suspected. Police are currently investigating, which we pray will ensure this never happens again to any other family or pet.
 
Your prayers for the family and all who fell in love with sweet Bella are appreciated and treasured.  Please pray for comfort and protection from the trauma with all this, especially for the Rylander boys.
