Hello! My name is Rena, and everyone who knows me also knows my cat Maurice - a tough guy from the streets who had a rough life until he came to live with me and Bob in 2020.

Maurice is FIV+ so we've had a few health struggles along the way but he is the kindest and gentlest animal, made entirely of love and nothing more, and so it's still important to me to be able to provide him with as many treatment options as we can while facing some new challenges.

Maurice sometimes has a loss of appetite and it's been causing issues recently, now to the point of some potential organ failure. The vets are encouraging us to hospitalize him and try tube feeding (costly!!) since the issues could potentially be resolved with proper nutrition - or at least give us a chance to see what could be causing his troubles.

We are going into this knowing Mo has had a good 4 years with me, and has chronic health issues that could be unresolvable, but we believe he deserves the effort to see if he has a chance for more time in our happy little family. We need a little extra financial help in order to make that happen so any extra dollars or cents you have to spare will go a long way to supporting us through a rough time.
