Vet Bills for Bear

Yesterday, March 12th, Bear was viciously attacked by 3 pitbulls.  Mom and Dad were going to put him down this morning, but he has decided to live.   We were quoted at 10, 000 for all of the surgeries and after care services and any costs reached beyond the vet bills, will be donated to the local SPCA.  Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you all.  With love

This is my parents dog Bear. He is one of my best friends in life. We raised him from a pup and watched him grow into an awesome dog. Today Bear was attacked by 3 pittbulls. These same 3 pittbulls just last summer attacked another dog in Hinton. These three violent dogs attacked my best friend and drug him under an RV, biting and tearing him to pieces. There were multiple people from the neighborhood trying to rip these dogs from Bear, yet no matter how hard they tried these 3 pittbulls would not stop attacking him.
This a situation no pet owner should ever have to face. Bear is in the care of the veterinary clinic in Hinton right now and if he lives he has one hell of a fight ahead of him for healing.
I am filled with sadness and confusion as to how this could happen. These dogs attacked another dog in our community just this past summer. Not even a full year has passed and they are attacking and attempting to kill yet another living creature. This could have easily been any number of other Hintonites dogs or citizens. It's just our lot in life that it turned out to be Bear who was attacked. I hope everyone out there takes the time to appreciate their dogs and other loved ones and to report any violent dogs to animal control asap. We don't need to see more cases like this in Hinton.
