VESA: Humanitarian work in Fiji 2021

In July 2021 I will be travelling to Fiji to spend 2 weeks completing voluntary humanitarian and educational work, alongside VESA (“Since 2009 VESA have provided direct action support to communities in parts of the world overlooked by traditional charities and aid organisations”).
My first week consists of staying in a local Fijian village with a host family, experiencing the local lifestyle and learning about their culture, as well as helping to rebuild/maintain the local schools and vital infrastructures.
Our main aim is to make their environment more sustainable and to teach them essential lifestyle habits to ensure that they remain as healthy as possible, e.g. proper hygiene techniques and the importance of nutrition.
The second week involves the other volunteers and I island hopping 3 islands, experiencing their beauty and learning about the marine life and the best ways to conserve this.
Any donations will contribute towards the building materials, educational resources and enable us to fund local organisations. I would be extremely appreciative of any donation, no matter how big or small.
