More information about Animal Legal Defense Fund: The Animal Legal Defense Fund's mission is to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. ALDF files high-impact lawsuits to protect animals from harm, provides free legal assistance and training to prosecutors to assure that animal abusers are punished for their crimes, supports tough animal protection legislation and fights harmful animal protection legislation, and provides resources to law students and professionals to advance the emerging field of animal law.
No matter your relationships with animal products, ethical treatment of farmed animals across the species (pigs, chickens, cows, turkeys, etc.) is lacking. ALDF has the ability to make an impact on the quality of lives and ethical treatment of farmed (and other) animals.
What will I do? I will use vertical altitude metrics to self-donate money into this Go-Fund Me (or ALDF) campaign. For each vertical foot of elevation gain in the mountains, I will donate 1 cent to my campaign. So for 100 vertical feet $1, or for 3000 vertical feet $30. I will keep track of metrics using my GAIA and MyElement Apps.
For all of my donors to the campaign, I am eternally grateful. For non-anonymous donors, I also plan to have a special gift shipped to you at the end of my campaign.
