On July 20th as Veronica Cuevas, a 1st grade teacher at Garica Elementary, was spending time with friends at a trampoline park; she began feeling severe neck pain, headaches, and vomiting. She was rushed to Doctors Regional Hospital where they determined she suffered bleeding in her brain from an aneurysm leak and feared the aneurysm might rupture. She was then air lifted to University Hospital in San Antonio to undergo immediate brain surgery. She is currently in ICU for the next 14 days as she recovers from surgery and awaits a second surgery. Veronica will then face a long road of rehabilation and recovery for the next 3-4 months. Please consider contributing financially to the Cuevas family to help cover medical and rehabilitation expenses. Thank you for you thoughts and prayers as Veronica contines her journey to heal.
