Vero Beach Theatre Guild 2022 Campaign

Tax deductible
The goal is to raise $250,000.00 through this campaign.
Introduction - Today, we embark on our annual 2022 Fund-Raising Campaign to help support the 2022/2023 Season. This fundraising campaign plea is by far our most important to date. Everyone has heard the old saying, “may you live in interesting times”; well, we are here! During these days when many Community Theatres around the country have had to close their doors forever because of COVID, we find ourselves blessed to have had the continued support of the Vero Beach Community. Now more than ever, we need your generosity and help to keep the dream of Community Theatre alive in Vero Beach!
We need your support to overcome the COVID fog - This year’s fund-raising campaign takes on greater importance to bridge the revenue gap and maintain operations. The severe revenue shortfalls are the direct result of COVID due to our reduced attendance. While the Theatre is in full operation with some great plays this season and planning for next season, COVID hit us hard, and we find our financial reserves threatened. This campaign takes on this greater importance. So, you can make a difference now with your donation, no matter how big or small. Please help us keep the dream of Community Theatre alive in Vero Beach – We do not want to be the next causality of the COVID pandemic!
The future is bright - Our 65th Sapphire Season is filled with great plays, with three musicals and three straight plays. Over the past year, we have been honored to have received a grant from the IRC Community Foundation to build a Studio Theatre, what some may call a “Black Box.” We opened our Studio Theatre with the play, Buyer and Cellar, which was a huge success. We plan on bringing more performances of the same caliber. We are also very excited to be working on a “Theatre Learning Center “in the summer of 2023 where students and adults alike will be learning the ins and outs of the Theatre -- from setting the stage, developing the costumes, and working the sound and lights to include performing.
Conclusion – Vero Beach is one of the best Florida communities to live in because of her people, community, and entertainment venues. The Vero Beach Theatre Guild is one of the key elements we can be proud of and enjoy. No one will want to miss the celebration of our 65th year, but we need your financial help to make that happen. So please help us keep one of the gems of Vero Beach alive with your contribution today - Your donation will make a difference!
Thank you so much for your support during this very trying time. Remember, no donation is too small.
“The Vero Beach Theatre Guild for today and future generations”
Sincerely,
Lisa McNamee, VBTG BOD President
