Vernon Edwards

19 year old Vernon Edwards was shot Saturday night August 29, 2020 in his hometown Raton, NM at our local car wash while trying to protect his cousin. He was then taken by Flight for Life to UNM Hospital where he is seeking medical attention. Vernon and his friend like to go to the car wash to hangout since Raton is a small town and they never cause havoc or trouble there. He has suffered 6 bullet wound injuries and may not be able to proceed with his dream career of going to the Military, he is also well known for playing Football, his bright smile and kind heart. Vernon has gone into surgery due to nerve damage in his right leg where one of the bullets entered. As of August 31st 2020 one of the main suspects were arrested, there are still 2 others out there. This fund will go towards trips, medical expenses and anything Vernon will need.
