Verde Staff Contributions

Hello friends, On the surface, we are in the midst of a miserably sad situation… We’ve been here before though and we all know how this story ends.  We come out better neighbors, friends, brothers and sisters, parents, and children.  We carry the load, as best we can, together.  We win in the end.  

The last three days have been the most difficult days the restaurant industry has possibly ever seen.  It was not a gradual slowdown where staff could hear the brakes grinding.  It was quite the opposite…  Spring was coming around the corner and patios would soon be full.  Optimism!  Everywhere!  Well… we know what happened next.

Our Brookhaven neighbors, Kaleidoscope Pub, had the great idea to call on the community for some charity for their employees; hopefully, this will make the coming months a little less turbulant for them.  We’d love if we could ask you to consider the staff at Verde as well.  Some of us have been with you for over a decade!  We really do enjoy our jobs… and a lot of that has to do with our great guests.  So, thank you for everything you’ve done for us already.  

We will celebrate this win over margaritas in the not too distant future.
