First of all receive a cordial greeting. Through this communication is our intention to announce the first Venezuelan Delegation for Model United Nations (VENMUN) that will participate in the prestigious Model of United Nations organized by the Imperial College in the city of London (LIMUN 2018), event to be held From 23 to 25 February 2018 in London, United Kingdom.
This model has the participation of over 1800 university students from European countries, making it an activity of great educational importance and cultural exchange. This year will be the first to have a Venezuelan and Latin American delegation in LIMUN, becoming pioneers to participate in the European circuit for the first time.
With this letter we want to arouse your interest in supporting us to carry out this goal that we have proposed with such conviction. We believe that its contribution will be decisive for 9 students from different schools of the UCV to leave up high for the first time the University and the country in this Conference that has been considered the most prestigious and competitive worldwide in the framework of Model United Nations.
We thank you in advance for your willingness to read these lines and help us continue to cultivate the potential of the Venezuelan youth that represents the present and future of the country and the world.
This campaign is being raised by Miguel Castaneda, for VENMUN. I'm a friend from college of the members of this delegation. The funds are going to be used for the financing of the participation of the Venezuelan Delegation for Model United Nations in the London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) as the only Latin American representation in this event. I feel specially drawn to this cause because my family is Latin American and I'm dear friends with the members of the delegation. The funds will cover the cost of plane tickets, stay, food and transport in London from February 19th to March 4th. I will cash the funds and transfer them to the account of the Delegation's Faculty Advisor, my friend Jiselle Samaan.
